Revision of EQA Regulation

DOE has revised the regulations of Sewage and Industrial Effluent. This regulation is now split into 2 - Environmental Quality (Sewage) Regulations 2009 and Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009. All companies subscribing to these regulations shall make appropriate amendments to the documented procedures.

Consultancy Service on ISO 9001:2008 Transition

True Management would like to announce that we are now open for registration for consultancy service on the process to transit from ISO 9001:2000 to ISO 9001:2008. Currently we have 72 clients being signed up with us on the transition process. TMQC’s consultants are in the process of contacting all our existing clients to introduce them our ISO 9001:2008 Upgrading Package. A new edition of ISO 9001, the world’s most widely used quality management system standard, is being submitted for voting as a Final Draft International Standard and, subject to formal approval by the ISO membership, the publication of the revised version should be in the October-November 2008 time frame.

ISO 9001:2008 Release Date (Probably)

The release date for ISO 9001:2008 will probably release on 31, Oct 2008. We will keep you inform if there are changes to the date. Upon release, all companies will have to upgrade within 1 to 1.5 years depending on certification body. Public Training Session Launched

Please be informed that we have included Public Training Updates in the front page. We are now open for new participant registration for our Improvement Activities Training that to be held in June, July and August 2007. We promoted this training since May 2007 and the result was extremely good as 3 out of 5 training sessions were full.

Updates about ISO 9001:2008

Since the re-write of ISO 9001 in 2000, ISO officials have been monitoring its implementation around the globe. Many companies have praised the change from the element to process approach, citing improved ease of integration with their current business processes. While more than 80% of companies worldwide indicate that they are satisfied with the changes made to ISO 9001, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) continues to monitor suggestions for improving the standard.
