JAS (Jabatan Alam Sekitar) has been sending out notices to all companies on the needs of using e-Consignment Note. It seems like they are enforcing the use of e-Consignment Note. The following is what written in the notice that was sent to one of our client :
One of our client who has attended DOE briefing recently informed us that DOE Malaysia may enforce the implementation of E-Consignment effective from 01, January 2007. They will only accept manual submission of Consignment Note in the event of any system breakdown at their site. You can register for an account at DOE Homepage.
