True Management would like to announce that we are now open for registration for consultancy service on the process to transit from ISO 9001:2000 to ISO 9001:2008. Currently we have 72 clients being signed up with us on the transition process. TMQC’s consultants are in the process of contacting all our existing clients to introduce them our ISO 9001:2008 Upgrading Package. A new edition of ISO 9001, the world’s most widely used quality management system standard, is being submitted for voting as a Final Draft International Standard and, subject to formal approval by the ISO membership, the publication of the revised version should be in the October-November 2008 time frame.

The release date for ISO 9001:2008 will probably release on 31, Oct 2008. We will keep you inform if there are changes to the date. Upon release, all companies will have to upgrade within 1 to 1.5 years depending on certification body. ISO 9001:2000 is due for an update in 2008. It is currently at Draft International Standard (DIS) stage and is likely to be published in September or October 2008.
